The Vancouver - Renfrew BCNDP Electoral district association

As you may have noticed, our new name and district boundaries; the Electoral boundaries commission tabled a report to the Legislative Assembly of British.  Legislation establishing the new boundaries was passed on May 11, 2023.  The new boundaries will come into effect when the next provincial general election is called.

The Vancouver - Renfrew Electoral district is one of the most culturally diverse areas in British Columbia.

Our Electoral district association works to support and strengthen local community and grow the BCNDP movement in our constituency.

We are happy to support Adrian Dix, who is the Minister of Health and Minister Responsible for Francophone Affairs.

MLA Adrian Dix

Adrian Dix was first elected as MLA for Vancouver-Kingsway in 2005 and re-elected in 2009, 2013, 2017 and 2020. He is the Minister of Health and Minister Responsible for Francophone Affairs. Since being elected MLA for Vancouver-Kingsway in 2005, Adrian has represented his constituents and their concerns, advocating for children in care, seniors, treatment of workers and public health research.

Adrian served as Leader of the Official Opposition from 2011 to 2014. During this time, he proposed a B.C.-wide colorectal cancer screening program, insulin pump coverage for young adults and lower generic drug prices, all of which became provincial policy.

As an association, we meet monthly to organize events and discuss issues while building towards the next election. We have a fun time working together to build social awareness of the BCNDP policies and our direction as a party.
